Rush Limbaugh-The White Reverend Wright
Rush Limbaugh addressed the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this afternoon. Here’s the video of his speech. It’s a hate-filled, polarizing, diabolical piece of oratory disguised as a call to arms for a valid political constituency. He’s a brilliant, entertaining, dangerous man.
As he spoke I pictured the discourse in this country morphing from a competitive but friendly game of tug of war, with a couple of kids at each end of a fairly short rope, into mobs of men pulling violently on a thick cable, with the gap between the sides and the number of rabid combatants continually increasing as time passed. Brother against brother stuff.
President Obama’s just unveiled budget probably had more “change” than his most ardent supporters had expected, and likely left even them with dropped jaws. Couple this with Limbaugh’s increasingly divisive preaching, whether on his show or in today’s speech, and we’ve got developments that don’t bode well for a nation whose goal should be to constructively disagree while finding common ground on which to move forward.
In terms of destructive power, Reverend Wright is a lightweight. Limbaugh’s the heavyweight champ.

Wow… he’s dangerous. From the transcript on the Fox site:
“But we didn’t ask if he was authentically black. We didn’t say, as some Southern Christian Leadership Conference leaders said: Barack is not authentic, he’s not got any slave blood. He’s really not down for the struggle, but his wife is. So don’t expect the race industry to go away.”
What the !@#$!@#$ – what a great way to be a racist. Reminds me of the neighbor who says “Now I don’t want to encourage gossip, but I heard Milly say…”
Rush will say or do anything to get the right back in power, all while making MILLIONS rabble rousing.
He’s a pill popping fool. This fat slut is a total deadhead from all the drugs he does.
