Obamas Lied About Puppy

George Herbert Walker Bush told us to read his lips, which mouthed the words “no new taxes”. He lied, and those lips and the teeth behind them bit the dust.
William Jefferson Clinton swore up and down that he never had sex with “that woman”. He lied, and was impeached for perjury. That lie may well have, however circuitously, cost Al Gore the Presidency in 2000.
George W. Bush, costumed in military garb that fit as long as he didn’t have to fight in it, dramatically declared that the mission in Iraq was accomplished, either lying or showing incredibly poor foresight.
And now President Obama, and his wife Michelle, have foisted on the American public a heartbreaking, unforgivable lie.
They said, when they promised their daughters a White House puppy to help with the transition to Washington, and to provide love and companionship during the long days and nights that dad and mom would be occupied with official state business, that the dog they selected would be a shelter dog.
A shelter dog. A populist choice, in keeping with O’s message of a DC housecleaning, and a return of the government to the people, from the elite who had misused and abused their power for the previous 8 years. A shelter dog, one whose life would go from rags to riches, an American pup, fulfilling the American dream.
But now the crushing truth is revealed. The new puppy, named “Bo”, came from an exclusive breeder in Texas, a breeder the Obamas were made aware of by the Kennedys. The Kennedys have given much to this country, and continue to fight for the environment and health care for all Americans among other noble causes. But the Kennedys were never big on mutts. And the shelter they’re probably most familiar with is the compound in Hyannis Port, not the local animal shelter.
And so, dear friends and fellow citizens, we’ve been fooled again. We’re asked to trust our leaders, after distrust reached heretofore unheard of proportions, but it didn’t take long for the Obamas to join, not change, the culture of lying in plain sight that has become as American as apple pie, however artificially sweetened the pie may be.

Our sincere apologies for the misunderstanding. When then President-elect Obama mentioned getting a pup, he said “And we will get a Shelter dog.” What he MEANT to say was a Shelty dog. Since all the Shelty’s were gone from the Hyannis 4-Star Breeders and Tennis Club, the President was urged by Sen. Kennedy to adopt BO, a Portuguese illegal, being held by ICE until he could be questioned and subsequently deported.

This is great satire! I almost thought that you were seriously upset over Obama’s puppy!
President Bush never, ever declared the Iraq mission accomplished. He spoke beneath a banner with those words on an aircraft carrier. The crew of that carrier’s mission was accomplished and it left the gulf a few days later. The White House had nothing to do with that banner.
How about the lies concerning the Air Force One photo shoot? The plane that flew over NYC, and scared the crap out of New Yorkers, was not Air Force One, but a backup plane. If not for the furor, they would have posted those photos claiming it was Air Force One!
