Malkin Matters?
In one of her recent blogs, conservative canary Michelle Malkin implores Republicans not to waste a lot of time “licking their wounds”, while suggesting that her fellow neocons “gird their loins”.
Trivial images: priceless.
At least she gives proper attribution for that last phrase to ace wordsmith Dick “sword is mightier than the pen” Cheney.
She then laments receiving many “moan-y, sad-face, ‘What do we do now, Michelle?’ e-mails.” This whining isn’t befitting of a group whose gripes about their opponents focused on…their excessive whining.
Who are these sad, forlorn creatures who look to her for aid, comfort, and guidance? Rather than suggesting they grow a pair, Ms. Michelle has left the building with her bosom buddy Ms. Coulter to have tea and watercress on crustless white bread slabbed with mayo.
Liberals have their latte. Neocons hold the crust.
Her piece has a Romper Room quality about it. As if the Kool Aid’s about to be served along with the melamine tainted Oreos. Let’s keep that unregulated, free trade coming!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for worldwide open-air markets, but even flat worlds need speed limits.
