Mr. Kannon.... dare you dis the mighty Apple? Oh you who are usually so wise, are truly on the wrong side of this one. I have watch the same phenomenon before. The Iphone released - stock goes down 10% and the horde complains that it is too (expensive, stylish, geeky, etc.) and not (useful, compatible, ubiquitous). Then it makes a billion more dollars, changes the game, and the stock doubles. I shall hereby bet you an iPad vs. what ever $600 toy you want that by Christmas the iPad is a resounding hit, causing a shift in all the other product offerings, and generates significant new revenue streams for Apple and hundreds of App. manufacturers, publishers and content producers.
