Crucifixion Without Resurrection?
The incredibly ironic crucifixion of Obama by his own pastor is over but not necessarily done with. Vegas is laying odds against a resurrection. For the once front-runner and now long shot to come in a winner, what’s needed is a hearty dose of what’s starting to arrive in dribs and drabs: a direct, non-metaphysical definition of the candidate, his purpose, and his policies.
As the PA results demonstrated, the transition from overarching inspiration to blue collar solutions is running way late, and the Reverend’s antics may have been the ultimate deal breaker.
The candidate of change and his brain trust had better demonstrate an ability to change fast and hard if they want to fulfill the promises they made before they had to go to the trouble of keeping them.
